About The Position

Aeroflow Health – Fullstack Software Engineer (Special Projects Team) Aeroflow Health is made up of creative and talented associates who are transforming the home medical equipment industry. Our patient-centric business model is founded on innovation through technology and cutting-edge delivery platforms. We have grown to be a leader in the home medical equipment segment of the healthcare industry, are among the fastest-growing healthcare companies in the country, and are recognized on Inc. 5000’s list of fastest-growing companies in the U.S. As Aeroflow has grown, so has our commitment to building not just software — but leverage. We believe modern engineering means combining strong fundamentals with rapid iteration, AI-assisted workflows, and high-ownership builders who ship meaningful impact. We’re working hard to ensure that Aeroflow remains a premier employer in Western North Carolina, improving the everyday lives of both our patients and the teams who serve them. The Opportunity Within Aeroflow, the Innovation Engineering (Special Projects) team is a highly skilled group of forward-thinking builders focused on solving the business’s most unique and high-leverage challenges. This team sits inside our broader 80+ engineer organization that includes internal/SQL, middleware, product, and platform teams. The Innovation Engineering team focuses on: Designing and delivering modern, AI-accelerated applications using Next.js, React, Node.js, TypeScript, AWS Lambda, and infrastructure-as-code (sst.dev, Pulumi/Terraform). Rapid experimentation, AI-native solutions (LLMs, prompting strategies, RAG/vector storage, model training), and engineering accelerators that multiply team velocity. Empowering internal engineering teams with scalable frameworks, modern architecture patterns, and hands-on DevOps + CI/CD enablement. We support internal product teams, business stakeholders, and engineering leadership — unlocking automation, improving patient experiences, and driving operational efficiency across Aeroflow. What makes this team special? High autonomy, high trust, and rapid shipping cycles. Greenfield builds with real business and patient impact. A collaborative, no-ego culture that values experimentation, craftsmanship, and smart use of AI tooling. Builders who care about outcomes, not just output.
