Program Overview The Future Leaders Fellowship offers hands-on work experience for college students who are motivated by public service and a desire to give back to their communities. The fellowship is designed to provide a broad, practical introduction to professional work, helping participants build confidence, develop transferable skills, and prepare for long-term career and civic engagement. The Future Leaders Fellowship is an immersive, 8-week program in which students are provided housing, transportation to and from the Downtown Columbus AOS office, and an interactive work experience that includes hands-on mentorship and presentations from Governmental and Private sector leaders such as: Judge James Green of Franklin County Municipal Court Columbus City Schools Worthington City Schools Franklin County Treasurer, Auditor, and Board of Commissioners John Parms CPA firm Jones Day law firm The Ohio Society of CPAs The Future Leaders program allows participants to experience a variety of career paths, including Auditing, Finance, Human Resources, and Information Technology. While our typical financial audit internship is for experienced accounting students, this program is designed for undergraduate and graduate students, of any major, who are attending Ohio and bordering state colleges and universities.
