About The Position

Beffa’s is a locally owned neighborhood bar and restaurant seeking a hands-on General Manager to lead day-to-day operations. This is a growth opportunity for a motivated operator ready to take full operational ownership in an independent, community-driven environment. The GM will oversee bar and kitchen operations, manage staff, control prime cost, and work directly with ownership to improve revenue and profitability. This role is ideal for a strong Assistant GM, Bar Manager, or Kitchen Manager ready to step into a full leadership position.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years restaurant/bar management experience
  • Strong understanding of food and labor cost control
  • Experience supervising both kitchen and bar teams
  • Organized, accountable, and self-motivated
  • Comfortable in a hands-on environment

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily FOH and BOH operations
  • Create and manage staff schedules
  • Ensure consistent open/close procedures
  • Maintain service, food quality, and cleanliness standards
  • Monitor food cost and labor cost (prime cost focus)
  • Manage ordering and inventory (food and liquor)
  • Reduce waste and improve cost efficiency
  • Review weekly sales and labor reports with ownership
  • Hire, train, and develop staff
  • Maintain accountability and professional culture
  • Handle performance and disciplinary issues
  • Support event nights and promotional initiatives
  • Maintain strong guest engagement
  • Identify operational improvements that drive revenue
