Job SummaryThe General Manager, reporting directly to the District Manager, is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a Company education account in Braintree, MA. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and effective leadership to guide and support the onsite team. The General Manager is also responsible for maintaining positive client relationships while ensuring the delivery of high-quality food and exceptional service to the school community.
Requirements
- Five years of foodservice operation experience as General Manager, Director, or similar level leadership role
- High volume production and catering experience is essential
- Previous experience managing a budget
- Desire to learn and grow with a top notch food service company
Nice To Haves
- BS, Hospitality or Culinary degree preferred
- Prior experience in an education setting desired
Responsibilities
- Oversees all P&L and budgeting as it pertains to the Educatoin account
- Manages overall day to day operations of the account
- Conducts HR functions including hiring, progressive counseling, terminations
- Oversees scheduling, payroll and team training
- Maintains excellent relationships with customers, guests and Client as well as other departments
- Works with the Chef and management team in creating menus and providing top quality food
- Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with Company marketing and culinary team
