We are seeking a talented Geologist/Engineer III to join our dynamic ASL team. In this critical role, you will be supporting environmental projects and assist internal clients from project inception to project closeout. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree engineering, geology, earth sciences, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent technical writing and oral communications skills for environmental consulting applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree in engineering, geology, earth sciences, or a related field.
  • 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER Training and current 8-hour refresher.
  • Other OSHA training (30-hour construction) is valued.
  • Experience working on Department of Defense sites.
  • Experience preparing draft work plans and reports.
  • Experience with the operation of remediation systems and environmental sampling equipment.
  • Professional licensure (PE or PG) or the ability to receive professional licensure within the first year or two of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as task lead for environmental activities and coordinates the efforts of support staff.
  • Assists with the development of standard operating procedures and policies.
  • Ensures compliance with internal procedures and external policies (e.g., federal/government regulations).
  • Interfaces with clients (internal and external), regulators, property owners, and other project stakeholders to ensure site access and work schedules are understood and accepted.
  • Reviews and summarizes analytical data, and develops conclusions based on the results.
  • Provides Field Management on large-scale projects.
  • Some travel will be required.
  • Applies a working knowledge of CERCLA and RCRA to all necessary projects.
