In this critical role, you will be supporting environmental projects and assist internal clients from project inception to project closeout. Requirements

Bachelor's degree engineering, geology, earth sciences, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in environmental consulting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Competency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint).
Excellent technical writing and oral communications skills for environmental consulting applications.

Nice To Haves

Advanced degree in engineering, geology, earth sciences, or a related field.
40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER Training and current 8-hour refresher.
Other OSHA training (30-hour construction) is valued.
Experience working on Department of Defense sites.
Experience preparing draft work plans and reports.
Experience with the operation of remediation systems and environmental sampling equipment.
Professional licensure (PE or PG) or the ability to receive professional licensure within the first year or two of employment.

Responsibilities

Serves as task lead for environmental activities and coordinates the efforts of support staff.
Assists with the development of standard operating procedures and policies.
Ensures compliance with internal procedures and external policies (e.g., federal/government regulations).
Interfaces with clients (internal and external), regulators, property owners, and other project stakeholders to ensure site access and work schedules are understood and accepted.
Reviews and summarizes analytical data, and develops conclusions based on the results.
Provides Field Management on large-scale projects.
Some travel will be required.
Applies a working knowledge of CERCLA and RCRA to all necessary projects.
