Requirements

  • Internship applicants must be enrolled in an accredited graduate business program or healthcare program for the entire duration of their internship. Examples include – MA in health economics, PhD in health economics, MPH, MHA, MA in Healthcare Decision Analysis.
  • Must graduate December 2026 or later.
  • Must be in good scholastic standing (3.5+ GPA or equivalent)
  • Must be available to work 10-12 weeks full-time over the course of the summer. Preferred start in May.
  • Strong interest in pursuing relevant industry experience within the healthcare and life sciences industry is a plus.
  • Must not require company sponsorship for an employment-based visa now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Transcatheter Heart Valve (THV) Global Health Economics & Reimbursement (GHER) team.
  • Gain hands-on experience in health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) within the medical device industry.
  • Support key projects and initiatives that demonstrate the value of our products to stakeholders, including policy-makers, payers, and healthcare providers.
  • Play a key role in the evidence messaging strategy and deployment of evidence generation initiatives to support expanding patient access to timely treatment of aortic stenosis.
  • Understand how GHER supports the product development cycle through real-world evidence work.
  • Experience an introduction to reimbursement initiatives globally, including US, Europe, and Asia Pacific.

  • For California, the base pay range for this position is $54,000.00 to $72,000.00 (highly experienced). The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
