About The Position

We are currently seeking a Golf and Turf Equipment Technician at our Woodland branch. This is a full-time position and an excellent opportunity for a mechanically inclined individual interested in working with turf maintenance equipment, golf carts, and small engine machinery. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in turf equipment repair, grounds maintenance equipment, small engines, and mechanical assembly. Individuals who enjoy diagnosing mechanical issues, working with electrical systems, and assembling equipment used in outdoor environments will excel in this position. Requirements

  • Mechanical aptitude and basic electrical knowledge preferred
  • Experience with turf maintenance equipment, tractors, mowers, or small engines preferred
  • Basic set of hand tools, power tools, and electrical diagnostic tools, a plus
  • Need to be a team player with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to clearly follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Eager and willing to learn new tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment or with minimal training.
  • Must be in good physical condition, requiring continuous lifting up to 50 pounds routinely during a shift. This position requires heavy lifting, carrying, pushing, bending, twisting, and pulling daily.
  • Current driver's license and reliable means of transportation and must be insurable.

Responsibilities

  • Perform complete inspection and refurbishment of pre-owned golf and turf equipment (mowers, tractors, golf carts, etc.)
  • Perform complete inspection and refurbishment of pre-owned golf carts to include (but not limited to); replacement of cowl/body/roof, installation of a large variety of accessories, custom wheels/tires.
  • Assemble new golf carts for stock/fleet/retail sold and install any requested accessories.
  • Cleaning and detailing units prior to sale.
  • Assist with mechanical service and repairs on tractors, mowers, and other turf care equipment
  • Perform thorough pre-delivery inspections to ensure quality.
  • Point person for keeping track of the fleet set up process.
  • Diagnose and repair all makes and models of golf carts.
  • Assist other technicians, as needed.
  • Write service reports that accurately reflect work performed and parts used.
  • Maintain all equipment and ensure tools are in good working condition.
  • Maintain general housekeeping duties in shop and property maintenance.
  • Work with the Service Manager to ensure consistent workflow.
  • Help maintain and support safety policies.
  • Ability to read, write and communicate with co-workers and managers.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
