About The Position

The part time staff is responsible for customer service and overseeing the daily operations of the Rob Roy Golf Course and clubhouse. Duties and Responsibilities Golf Operations Associates are responsible for the day-to-day sales Is responsible for the cleanliness of the golf shop Ensure golf carts are cleaned and stored properly Follow all opening and closing procedures Ensure that there is a safe environment for the public and staff in the building Attend and participate in staff and training meetings Will be responsible for the management of outings, tournaments, and special events. Answer the phone and make assigned calls as required Assist patrons with registrations Greet patrons when entering and exiting the facility Keep supervisor(s) informed of any problems or special occurrences Will assist with the taking of monthly inventory, which includes retail merchandise and food and beverage products. Performs other duties or special projects as assigned. Perform outdoor duties relating to First Tee group organizing or ranging course. Risk Management Obey the practical safety rules, regulations and procedures established by the safety program of the River Trails Park District Follow all safety procedures for handling equipment Responsible for carrying out all emergency procedures and keeping accurate records of all occurrences Actively supports and enforces the safety program instituted by the Park District Maintains a working knowledge of all general agency and department-specific safety rules Attends required safety program and in-service education meetings as directed Corrects unsafe conditions and/or reports them to your director supervisor Enforces safety disciplinary policies and procedures Uses protective gloves, masks and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent exposure to pathogens

Requirements

Work well with public
High school graduate
Excellent customer service
Staff must be willing to work flexible hours which are typically sunrise to sunset seven days a week.
Valid Driver’s License

Ability to multitask very well
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person and over the phone
Certification in Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), First Aid and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) within 3 months of employment
