About The Position

This is a highly responsible position assigned to work with the Northwest Region Economic Self-Sufficiency (NWR ESS) Director and Program Office Manager. This position provides workload and performance management reports for regional leadership on a daily and monthly basis. Candidate must have advanced level skills working with Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft ACCESS data bases; creating pivot tables, and charts graphs and tables as required. This position provides data to assist leadership in investigating, assessing and analyzing performance or workload management trends and issues. Provides and tracks data for regional hiring and staff retention plans. This position is also responsible for successful implementation of the regional hiring and retention plan by monitoring and assisting Circuit HR Liaisons in effectively managing the hiring process by ensuring accuracy, timeliness and documentation of the hiring process; maintains vacancy and hiring data for the region; ensures accurate and timely posting and close out of requisitions on people first and tracking and monitoring the region’s weekly vacancy reporting and hiring activities. Compiles and organizes data from all levels of monitoring and works with staff to identify error trends. Prepares computer analytical reports of findings to assist management in determining the best course of corrective action.  Actively participates in error reductions. Prepares and coordinates reports.  Recommends and assists in quality improvement strategies. Analyzes data from all levels of Region monitoring and quality control.  Prepares reports and presentations for the Region.  Analyzes qualitative and quantitative data.  Monitors and evaluates operational performance and workload management outcomes for the Region.  Assists with operational planning and service delivery.  Provides administrative support and participates in committees, work groups, and community activities as directed by Regional ESS Director and Program Office Manager. Some travel will be required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent work experience) from a college or university with 3 years’ experience in working with data analysis or administrative work.
  • Professional or nonprofessional experience as described above can substitute on a year-for year basis for the required college education.

  • Systems Evaluation:  Looking at many indicators of system performance, taking into account their accuracy.
  • Mathematics:  Knowledge of numbers their operations, and interrelationships including one or more of the following:  arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.
  • Personnel and Human Resources:  Knowledge of policies and practices involved in personnel/human resource functions. Management of Personnel Resources:  Motivating, developing, and directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job.
