Queen of Apostles Catholic School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering an educational environment where every child can excel academically, grow spiritually, and develop socially, while also being an active participant in our school community.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field
• Teaching certification (preferred) or a willingness to pursue certification.
• Strong commitment to Catholic education and the mission of Queen of Apostles.
• Experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably in a Catholic school setting.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach elementary-level students in various subjects, including but not limited to, mathematics, reading, writing, science, and social studies, integrating faith and Christian morals into the curriculum.
• Incorporate Catholic teachings into daily lessons and classroom activities, guiding students in prayer and developing their relationship with Christ.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment, maintaining discipline and fostering a love for learning.
• Work closely with other teachers, staff, and school leadership to implement school-wide initiatives and support students' academic and spiritual development.
• Maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress, concerns, and achievements, fostering a strong partnership between home and school.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, staying current with educational trends, best practices, and Catholic education principles.
