The Center for Victims of Torture works toward a future in which torture ceases to exist and its victims have hope for a new life. We are an international nonprofit dedicated to healing survivors of torture. We offer rehabilitation services to those who have been tortured, train partners around the world who can prevent and treat torture, and advocate for human rights and an end to torture. We are headquartered in Minnesota, and we have US offices in Georgia and DC, as well as offices in Africa and the Middle East. The Center for Victims of Torture is hiring a Grants Accountant to facilitate the financial components of grants within their portfolio through proposal budgeting, ongoing monitoring and accounting, reporting, and audit. This position will collaborate with program managers, field-based accounting staff, and other finance staff to ensure proper management of grants from private and government entities. Position open to: Candidates located in the U.S. who are authorized to work in the U.S. and will not need CVT to sponsor them on a work visa. Remote status: Position is fully remote.
