About The Position

Job Purpose The Subsurface Lead supports production operations by coordinating workflow, prioritizing work, and ensuring every order is produced accurately, efficiently, and shipped on time. This role provides daily leadership, coaching, and feedback to a team of 2–5 production staff while helping drive continuous improvement, quality, and operational excellence. This role requires working on-site in our office Key Responsibilities Coordinate and balance work-order flow to meet daily production goals and on-time delivery. Lead, coach, and mentor subsurface production staff, providing feedback and skill development. Support training and onboarding of new production team members. Monitor quality standards and ensure accurate, efficient production. Identify workflow challenges and help implement solutions using LEAN principles. Collaborate with other departments to prioritize work and resolve order issues. Communicate supply needs and support production metrics and reporting. Step in as needed to support daily production and assist in the absence of the Production Manager. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years in a Crystal D production role at a Level 5 competency in at least three sections or 2 years in a lead or supervisory role in a production/manufacturing environment. Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills. High attention to detail with a focus on quality and efficiency. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to read, write, and perform basic math at a high school level. Experience with LEAN, EOS, or 4DX is a plus. Experience using 3D Studio Max and/or other 3D modeling software is desirable. Requirements
