About The Position

Student Job, Graphic Design Worker, SC1GRDSNGRDSN (SP26)
Student Worker Eligibility:
Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester or 1 credit hour for Summer semester.
Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above. If a first semester student, GPA requirement is waived.
If a Student qualifies for Federal Work Study, the Student will be hired as a Federal Work Study employee to utilize these funds.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist Graphic Design faculty.

Clean all computer surfaces including monitors, CPU's, keyboards and mice.
Monitor lab for computer and software problems and report to lab supervisor.
Monitor laser and inkjet printers and Xerox ink and toner levels.
Maintain design studio spaces including room cleaning and monitoring of equipment.
Maintain Department Design Displays in rooms and hallway spaces.
Assist faculty in development of design and promotion work for the program.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education
Current Graphic Design student, proficient on Apple Mac computers and Adobe software required.
THIS IS A STUDENT JOB.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester or 1 credit hour for Summer semester.

Working Conditions:
Apple Macintosh computers, desktop scanners, digital cameras, video cameras, laser printers, inkjet printers, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Apple software.
Open lab hours on Fridays and Saturdays.
Some lifting of packages required.
Hours: Variable, M-F Between 8 & 5.
This student position does not require pre-employment testing.
Pay Rate: Student Rate 1 - $15.00 per hour
