Graphic Designer - MGM Grand Detroit
About The Position
We’re looking for a creative, energetic Graphic Designer to join our casino marketing team and help bring the excitement of our brand to life! In this role, you’ll design eye-catching campaigns from concept to completion across print and digital channels—including ads, direct mail, email marketing, posters, brochures, web banners, photography, and video. You’ll collaborate with creative leadership, vendors, and corporate partners to ensure every piece is delivered on time, on brand, and ready to impress. If you love working in a fast-paced environment, staying on top of design trends, and creating bold visuals that capture attention, this is your chance to put your creativity into play.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work a varied shift to include weekends and holidays
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
- Two years of prior relevant graphic design experience preferred
- Previous experience in photography and video editing/ shooting preferred
- Experience working with adobe creative design preferred
Responsibilities
- Design and create campaigns and jobs from concept to completion
- Create invitations, direct mailers, emails, web banners, collateral and other collateral
- Work with vendors and corporate partners to ensure delivery and execution of all assets
- Work with creative management to ensure that designs meet corporate and client expectations, budgets and deadlines
- Stay current in design trends and styles in various media, including digital and social channels
- Generate high quality comps for presentation or review
- Modify or revise complex digitals to ensure they RIP correctly and print properly for a variety of media
- Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and select style and size of type
- Use a variety of tools, applications and computer software to generate new images
