About The Position

As a Graphic Designer at Topps, in the NY office, you will bring the brand’s visual storytelling to life through bold, high-impact design across digital and physical channels. You’ll play a key role in evolving the Topps identity—bridging its heritage with innovative creative that resonates with collectors and fans worldwide.  This position will be responsible for handling a wide variety of duties, which include, but are not limited to the ones listed below.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of graphic design experience, ideally within consumer products, sports, entertainment, or lifestyle brands.
  • A strong portfolio that showcases your ability to merge creativity with brand consistency across digital and physical media. (please share in your resume submission)
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or similar tools.
  • Experience designing across digital channels (email, web, paid media, social) and for physical packaging or printed materials.
  • Deep understanding of layout, composition, typography, and color with a high attention to craft and detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once, take initiative, and deliver high-quality work on deadline.

  • Familiarity with collectibles, sports, or pop culture brands is a plus—and passion for the Topps brand is highly valued.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute marketing campaigns, promotional assets, and product visuals across digital, social, and e-commerce channels.
  • Assist in branding for activations at Comic Con, Topps Rip Night, WrestleMania, World Baseball Classic, etc.
  • Develop brand-right creative that reflects the iconic voice of Topps while pushing visual innovation.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams—including Marketing, Product, and Packaging—to deliver cohesive, campaign-driven creative for major product drops across MLB, NBA, Disney, WWE & more
  • Create digital assets such as landing pages, emails, banner ads, and social content for major product drops, events, and releases.
  • Contribute to insert card design and print collateral to support physical collectibles.
  • Maintain and evolve the Topps visual identity system and design templates, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment where collaboration, initiative, and attention to detail are essential.
  • Provide creative direction and mentorship to other designers as needed.
