You will join a hard-working, dedicated, and respected team dedicated to keeping St. Jude campus and its green spaces beautiful and maintained. You'll need a green thumb and experience in landscaping and grounds maintenance! The shift is for Monday through Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm. The maintenance assistant for grounds and landscape will report to the manager of horticulture and landscape. This team is part of the Facilities, Operations, and Maintenance (FOM) department and is responsible for campus landscape architecture, turf/landscape/hardscape maintenance, pest control, street and sidewalk maintenance and signage, organic refuse and recycling operations, landscape project management, snow and ice removal, and emergency response operations across the roughly 117-acre St. Jude campus and its 30+ buildings. You will work closely with partners across the St. Jude enterprise and within the Campus Operations group (FOM, Planning, Design and Construction, Environmental Services, Administration, Food Services, and Bio-Medical Engineering). This role has a direct impact on a visitor’s first impression of the St. Jude campus and hugely impacts the institution’s overall reputation.
