About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile individual to join our team as a Groundskeeper Lead /Wastewater Operator Trainee . This unique position offers the opportunity to develop skills in wastewater management while leading groundskeeping activities. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in groundskeeping or wastewater management is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate groundskeeping activities, ensuring the upkeep of outdoor areas.
Lead a team of groundskeepers, providing guidance and support.
Maintain lawns, gardens, and other landscaped areas, including mowing, trimming, and planting.
Ensure the proper use and maintenance of groundskeeping equipment.
Plan and execute seasonal landscaping projects.
Assist in the operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment facilities.
Monitor and record data related to wastewater processes.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance of equipment.
Learn and adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations.
Support the team in troubleshooting and resolving operational issues.
When groundskeeping tasks are completed or not required, focus on learning and performing wastewater operator functions.
Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless integration of both roles.
Participate in training programs to enhance skills in both areas.
