About The Position

We’re hiring a Group Chief Technology Officer (Group CTO) to join our Executive Team. Candidate must reside (or relocate) within Mesa or Pueblo County on date of hire. Statewide travel will be expected. The Group Chief Technology Officer is responsible for overseeing and aligning technology strategy, systems, and infrastructure across multiple companies within the group. This role ensures standardization where appropriate, integration between company systems, operational efficiency, cybersecurity, and scalability while supporting the unique needs of each business unit. Under the supervision of the Chief Executive Officer, the Group CTO is responsible for the following:

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required (Master’s preferred)
  • 10+ years of technology leadership experience, including multi-entity environments
  • Proven experience managing complex, integrated enterprise systems
  • Strong background in cloud infrastructure, enterprise architecture, and system integration
  • Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity and risk management
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Valid Colorado driver’s license and access to transportation during work hours.
  • Experience in holding companies, conglomerates, or shared services models
  • ERP, CRM, and enterprise platform implementation experience
  • Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions (M&A)
  • Knowledge of data governance and enterprise architecture framework

Responsibilities

  • Technology Strategy & Governance Define and execute a unified technology vision across all group companies
  • Establish technology governance, standards, and policies for group-wide systems
  • Align IT and technology strategies with overall business and growth objectives
  • Advise executive leadership and company senior leadership on technology investment
  • Multi-Company Systems & Integration Oversee integration of systems across multiple companies (ERP, CRM, finance, HR, data platforms)
  • Ensure interoperability and data consistency between business units
  • Drive shared services and platforms to reduce cost and complexity
  • Lead system modernization, migration, and consolidation initiative Leadership & Collaboration Lead, mentor, and coordinate technology leaders across subsidiaries
  • Build high-performing cross-company technology teams
  • Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing between company IT department Security, Risk & Compliance Define and enforce group-wide cybersecurity, data privacy, and compliance standards
  • Oversee risk management, business continuity, and disaster recovery planning
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and regional data laws Operations & Vendor Management Manage group technology budgets and optimize technology spend
  • Oversee vendor selection, contracts, and strategic partnerships
  • Monitor performance, reliability, and scalability of shared system Innovation & Growth Identify emerging technologies that can benefit multiple companies
  • Drive digital transformation and automation initiatives
  • Support M&A technology due diligence, integration, and system alignmen
