The Project Controls Group Director is responsible for leading our team of approximately 35 controls staff performing scheduling, estimating, cost control, and document control services. As a key member of the New York Office Leadership Team, the Group Director: Brings culture of leadership and development; Responsible for technical coaching and mentoring and efficient, productive utilization of staff in providing high-quality service. Drives profitable growth of the Project Controls services Collaborates with leadership across the office and division to apply the firm’s strategic sales and planning approaches. Leads / supports project pursuits and proposals Drives 4for4 project delivery and manages project scope, budget, and quality control for large and/or complex projects or programs. Coordinates project priorities, staffing schedules, and staff assignments for profitable performance. Oversees departments and sections financial metrics to ensure adherence with the group’s goals and in align with office expectations. Ensures clients are provided the proper resources at the appropriate time Brings connected culture to our staff in our New York Design Offices as well as collocated staff at HNTB’s field-office PM/CM projects. Works with other offices and project teams to provide controls services to key projects across the Northeast Division and East Region Coordinates with Finance Team to bridge the gap between external client/project needs and internal Project Management & financial controls
