About The Position

TL;DR — We're building humanity's defense layer for the AI age and are looking for a high-agency operator to work directly with the CEO on business strategy, deployments, and growth. If you would have joined Palantir, SpaceX, or Stripe in the first 10 employees — not to manage, but to build and scale it — this is that role. Why Sweep? As intelligent machines proliferate into every part of the physical world, we humans still lack a defense layer to ensure the systems and devices we rely on remain aligned with us. We're building that layer today by deploying alongside the world’s highest-stakes teams — Olympic delegations, F1 paddocks, halftime shows, global tours, studio productions, senior government officials, and executive protection units. What we learn there becomes the foundation for a civilization-defining capability. We’re a small, talent-dense team with high ownership, high velocity, and low ego. We care deeply, move fast, and are here to build something that outlasts us. Together, we’ll redefine cyber-physical security for the AI age. What makes this role special? First dedicated growth hire. Work directly with the CEO. Operate in high-stakes, high-visibility environments. Drive BD pipeline, partnership execution, and deployment velocity. Define how this company scales pre-Series A. You will own outcomes, not tasks. This role can evolve into Chief of Staff, BD lead, or GM-level responsibility based on performance.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years in high-performance environments (startup, VC, consulting, military, special projects, etc.)
  • Proven history of shipping outcomes in ambiguous, real-world conditions.
  • Extremely high output under time pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator.
  • Commercial instinct — you understand how deals actually move from conversation to signed contract.
  • Exceptional at turning raw data into clear decks, models, and executive narratives (Slides/Keynote/Sheets-level fluency expected).
  • Technically fluent — able to reason about software, networks, and hardware systems without hand-holding.
  • U.S. Person status required (may involve export-controlled data).

Nice To Haves

  • Built operating systems (dashboards, models, processes) from zero.
  • Operated inside high-profile music, sports, or live production ecosystems and understand how decisions actually get made.
  • Supported deal flow, board prep, or high-stakes external meetings.
  • Helped scale a company from 0 → 1.

Responsibilities

  • Own segments of the BD funnel — pipeline through conversion support.
  • Help close early lighthouse deals across sports, entertainment, and enterprise.
  • Deploy globally for short, high-intensity engagements (~20–40% travel).
  • Build internal operating systems (KPIs, CRM, growth models, budgets).
  • Convert field outcomes into investor materials and strategic narratives.
  • Coordinate high-stakes deployments.
  • Draft external communications and internal memos.

Benefits

  • Total compensation includes equity, premium insurance, and individual benefits.
