Requirements

  • L&H or P&C license required; proficient in MS Office Suite with strong Excel, Word, Outlook, and virtual‑meeting tool skills
  • 3+ years of insurance brokerage sales experience (middle market preferred), prior leadership or player‑coach experience, strong knowledge of commercial P&C and/or Employee Benefits, proven producer‑development ability, CRM proficiency, and excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; experience in consultative/advisory sales models
  • Strong background in sales management with expected regional domestic travel of 25%–50%

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach a team of regional producers by setting business plans and goals, conducting weekly 1:1s, providing hands‑on sales coaching, ensuring accountability, supporting onboarding, and driving a high‑performance culture
  • Own new‑business revenue targets by ensuring strong pipeline generation, guiding deal strategy and pricing, enforcing CRM discipline, tracking KPIs, producing dashboards, and facilitating strategic account planning
  • Collaborate across functions through joint prospect meetings, sharing market insights, supporting cross‑sell opportunities, monitoring producer performance, implementing corrective actions, forecasting accurately, and leading weekly sales meetings
