About The Position

Summary, Monitor and collect data as directed work with others test and inspect products at various stages of production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain food quality and reliability of products by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibility includes the following. Other duties may be assigned. Monitor the QFM pallet seals, time duration, temperature of product. While maintaining current HACCP plans. Assures compliance to all applicable regulatory agencies including USDA, FDA, Bureau of Weights and Measures, State and Local regulations. Sets an example for all employees in the areas of personnel and food safety. Immediately relays any problems or concerns with product to the Department Supervisor. Direct observation throughout the facility CCP cook temperature, processing temperature, pack temperature pH, and water activity. Verification the metal detector function on a daily basis and monitor process. Collecting all paperwork review to ensure it is complete, and correctly filled out, and scanning, saving and filing paperwork. Monitor activity on the camera on a weekly basis. Monitor HACCP and AFP checks. Conduct mock recall as needed.

Requirements

  • One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
  • Basic knowledge of computers and the ability to input data into a computer.
  • Lift 50 pounds 25 times during the shift
  • Stand and/or walk for the duration of the shift
  • Use hands to finger, grip, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
  • Talk and hear
  • Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Responsibilities
