Handyman/Carpenter (Construction Tradesman)
About The Position
In this role you'll be supporting home, bathroom, and kitchen remodels! We are offering between $24 and $27 to start, depending on experience. Position Summary Construction General Construction Tradesman perform tasks involving physical labor and craftsmanship at a variety of home renovations throughout Los Angeles. May operate a variety of hand and power tools. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, install Tile, install floors, Frame walls, install drywall, paint, electrical and Plumbing install and clean up. May assist other craft workers.
Requirements
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver’s license prior to employment
- 5+ years of residential construction, remodeling, or handyman experience
- Experience with light electrical, plumbing, painting, drywall, and finish carpentry
Responsibilities
- Performing a variety of tasks involving the renovation of kitchens, bathrooms, garage conversions.
- Installation of rough electrical, plumbing, framing
- Installation of finish materials such as tile, countertops, floors, paint.
- Maintaining a clean job site: picking up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards
- Handling and storing materials
- Loading and unloading trucks and hauling and hoisting materials
- Ensuring that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed; bringing problems to the attention of the Field Manager or Project Manager.
