About The Position

FMOL (Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady) - Headquartered in Baton Rouge, LA, serves patients across Louisiana and Mississippi through a network of hospitals, clinics, physicians, elderly housing and integrated information systems. FMOL's Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical in Lafayette, Louisiana is looking for 3 PC techs on a contract basis to help with hardware deployments at new construction sites, & new clinics, all while providing excellent customer service. 2 of the 3 positions will be 6 month contracts and the other position will be a 3 month contract. There are several PCs and desktop that will need to be deployed, replaced, and installed. Lourdes is going through a Windows 11 upgrade, a rennovation at the Woman's and Children's hospital, opening up a new floor at the main hospital, and is adding new clinics. These resources will will help deploy new hardware including: phones, computers, and Dell laptops. The techs will be required to unbox the new equipment, image each necessary device using SCCM (they can help train and have instructions), asset tagging, decommissioning the old equipment, and deploying the new equipment. These resources may also help the onsite Desktop Tech team which provides tier I support tickets that are escalated from the Helpdesk and will be customer facing at Lourdes to support any hardware / software issues, installs, upgrades, etc. Candidates need to have a familiarity with hardware, working tickets, and utilizing Active directory. They will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, complete new asset request, perform upgrades, etc. They follow a centralized processes for building out laptops, desktops, and thin clients. They are heavy on thin clients (Editing, configuring, setting it up.) They have wall cabinets (cabinet mounts on wall with motor that goes up and down, keyboard tray that comes up and down). Those are inside patient rooms. This team also support WOW’s (work stations on wheels that nurses pull around), mobile devices and iPhones, desktops, laptops, printers, etc. Need to be able to look up machines in Active Directory, OU associations, etc.
