About The Position

Primary Responsibilities and Duties: Responsible for Delivering Meals: Before leaving the Site counts both the hot and cold meals, frozen boxes and grocery boxes; checks the Mobile Meals app to be sure numbers of meals and diets match and understands any changes for the day. Delivers meals to specified clients on the route. Notifies appropriate personnel/makes notes in the Mobile Meals app if any client does not answer the door and reports any other concerns. Returns equipment to proper locations as instructed, ensuring that it is kept in good condition. Responsible for filling in for Site Coordinators when needed: Oversees delivery of meals to clients including counting and sorting meals in appropriate containers Being a resource for volunteers for questions

Requirements

Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to work well with older individuals, disabled individuals, and individuals of all ages and cultures
Knowledge of safe driving procedures
Able to follow verbal and written instructions
Able to perform functions with minimal supervision
Ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift 40 pounds, and fulfill the other physical requirements of the position
Ability to read, write and communicate fluently in English
Computer literacy
High school diploma or equivalent
Current driver's license, dependable licensed and insured vehicle
Able to pass criminal background check and urinalysis
