We offer high-quality, compassionate care for a wide variety of patients in need. Our teams provide evidence-based, transformational care for a broad range of mental health concerns in a compassionate, comfortable environment. A Health Information Management Manager (HIM) who excels in this role: Works collaboratively with physicians and hospital staff to assure completion of records that meet all regulatory and facility requirements. Reviews and responds to the daily fatal error reports for HIM related issues. Answer inquiries from internal and external contacts regarding information recorded in patient’s medical records, within all departmental policies and guidelines. Responds appropriately to any potential HIM issues. Reports/records HIPAA incidents in a timely manner & investigates to determine if breach of confidentiality occurred. Performs timely audits on medical charts to ensure documentation is complete and accurate. Prepares/audits the medical records post discharge to assure all required documentation is present. Accurately records and monitors departmental deficiency rate and maintains rate below 30%. We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care. Requirements

  • Previous experience in health information management required
  • May be required to work flexible hours.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Prefer Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT).
  • Valid driver’s license preferred.
