Experience drafting or interpreting regulations will significantly help the candidate succeed in this role. As a member of the Federal Programs department, the graduate intern will support project teams in thinking about legal and regulatory considerations, rule writing, program evaluation, and qualitative/quantitative research. An example of previous projects in this department includes the CMS Division of Value, Incentives, and Quality Reporting project where MITRE assists CMS in rule writing and regulatory research for eleven quality reporting and incentive programs in their Medicare FFS setting. In-person work at one of our locations is required – Baltimore or McLean.
