About The Position

Health Care Connectors is a leading home healthcare organization committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care to patients and families. Our team collaborates across departments to ensure seamless care coordination, staffing support, and operational excellence. We are excited to offer our Summer Internship Program , designed for students interested in gaining hands-on experience in healthcare administration and operations . This internship is ideal for rising juniors, seniors, graduate students, or recent graduates interested in careers in healthcare administration, operations, or human resources. The Healthcare Administration & Operations Internship provides students with real-world experience in the operational and administrative functions of a healthcare organization. Interns will work closely with the Human Resources team while gaining exposure to multiple departments across Health Care Connectors. Through this structured program, interns will develop professional skills, learn how healthcare organizations operate, and contribute to meaningful organizational projects.

Requirements

  • We are seeking motivated students who are eager to learn and gain professional experience within the healthcare industry.
  • Interest in healthcare operations and administration
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in: Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Healthcare Management or a related field

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a professional office environment

Responsibilities

  • Supporting recruitment and talent acquisition initiatives
  • Assisting with onboarding and orientation preparation
  • Supporting HR administrative tasks and documentation
  • Observing scheduling and workforce coordination processes
  • Assisting with marketing and outreach initiatives
  • Learning about client care management and care coordination
  • Supporting compliance and documentation processes
  • Participating in department meetings and shadowing opportunities
