About The Position

Acuren is currently recruiting for Heat Treat II Technicians at our Tulsa, OK location. The Heat Treat Technician II performs heat treatment operations with limited supervision, setting up and operating furnaces, ovens, and quenching systems according to process specifications. This role interprets work orders, verifies temperature and time parameters, and ensures that treated materials meet metallurgical and dimensional requirements. The Heat Treat Technician II conducts hardness and microstructure checks, troubleshoots process deviations, and maintains accurate process documentation. This intermediate-level position requires strong technical understanding of heat treatment methods, equipment operation, and safety protocols, with the ability to train and support junior technicians.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in Heat Treat field
• Must be able to pass an extensive background check
• Must be able to pass company drug screen

Nice To Haves

• Ability to perform machining work is a plus

Responsibilities

• Set up of Pre-Heat and Stress Relief equipment
• Ability to perform machining work is a plus
• Must be available for call out jobs
• Adhere to Acuren and Client Safety Policy and Procedures
• Promote a positive safety culture
• Complete JHA’s
• Communicate effectively with Project Manager, QC Manager, and Supervisor
• Maintain morale and professional presentation
• Produce charts, Heat Treat reports, Hardness Testing reports to submit to QC
