About The Position

The Histology technician performs high volume, repetitive tests in an anatomic pathology laboratory using standard procedures, identifies causes of technical and instrumental problems .

Requirements

• HS/GED Required
• Certification as HT (ASCP) preferred within 3 months of hire
• Other Lab Certifications considered with Pathology experience
• Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly.
• Must be able to maintain absolute confidentiality in the handling of patient information.
• Absolute integrity and accuracy in the identification and reporting of number and names.

Nice To Haves
