Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Previous scheduling or staffing experience preferred, ideally in healthcare or home care.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle last-minute changes.
Proficiency with technology, MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.), experience using scheduling software a plus.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds, clear background check, CPR, TB, physical
Effective multitasking, organization and time management, ability to prioritize tasks
Dependable, self-motivated, drive for results
Customer service focused, team player, truly cares about others
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
Creative problem solving, resourceful, exercises good judgment

Responsibilities

Coordinate with the Client Care manager regarding client care and staffing needs.
Create, maintain, and update caregiver/client schedules.
Match caregivers with clients based on skills, availability, and care plans.
Ensure all client shifts are properly staffed and documented in scheduling system.
Communicate schedule changes, call-offs, and coverage needs to staff, caregivers and clients.
Monitor and adjust schedules to address last-minute staffing issues.
Verify caregiver availability, credentials, and compliance requirements.
Provide excellent customer service to clients, families, and staff.
Assist with after-hours scheduling needs when required.
Direct client care when necessary
