Requirements

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
  • Minimum of 1 year clinical nursing experience, preferably in home health or community care.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
  • Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes within Sterling Heights and nearby areas.
  • CPR certification and other relevant clinical certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient health and progress, documenting all care and observations accurately.
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, healthcare regulations, and safety standards.
  • Travel to patient homes in Sterling Heights and the surrounding communities to provide timely visits.
