About The Position
As a HOST/HOSTESS you are the first and last face that our guests see, and the first experience of the atmosphere they get when they walk in. A warm smile and a friendly conversation are huge and make our customers feel welcome. As a part of our host staff you will be responsible for doing just that, making each and every one of our guests feel welcome and appreciated the moment they step foot in our doors, and directing them to a table. You will also be required to at times take to-go orders, track their progress, and deliver them to the correct customer. Hosts are a vital part of our team and we want the best of the best here at Dockside Deli. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous customer service experience in high volume establishment preferred.
- Must have excellent communication and guest service skills.
- Ability to maintain proper seating and reservations documentation.
