About The Position

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in a designated area, ensuring that facilities are sanitary, safe, and welcoming for all occupants. This role includes a variety of tasks such as cleaning, sanitizing, and light maintenance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous custodial or janitorial experience in a medical setting preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform strenuous tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience in a medical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow established cleaning procedures and schedules.
• Maintain a clean and organized storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Cleaning tasks range from high dusting, sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, floor care, etc.
