About The Position

Courtyard by Marriott at Universal Orlando is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Office Coordinator to oversee the daily administrative and operational functions of the Housekeeping Office. This leadership role ensures efficient coordination between housekeeping, front office, maintenance, and management while maintaining Marriott brand standards and delivering exceptional guest service. The ideal candidate must have prior Marriott experience, strong knowledge of hotel systems, and the ability to lead with professionalism, urgency, and accountability.

Requirements

  • Previous Marriott hotel experience (required).
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with: FOSSE GXP (guest request and work order tracking system) Microsoft Excel Microsoft Word Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Bilingual: English and Spanish (required).
  • Stand/walk for extended periods; frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, stair climbing.
  • Lift, push, or pull up to 40–50 lbs (linen bags, carts, equipment).
  • Work around cleaning chemicals (training/PPE provided).
  • Full availability including weekends and holidays.
  • Flexible schedule to meet operational demands.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage daily operations of the Housekeeping Office.
  • Coordinate room assignments and ensure accurate room status updates in FOSSE.
  • Utilize GXP to track and manage guest requests, team member requests, and work orders to ensure timely completion and guest satisfaction.
  • Support the Executive Housekeeper with scheduling, inventory control, and departmental reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards and cleanliness expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with Front Desk, Engineering, and other departments to ensure timely resolution of guest requests and room discrepancies.
  • Train, coach, and mentor team members.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate when necessary.
  • Maintain organized filing systems and accurate recordkeeping.
