About The Position

Join our lodging team and help us create sparkling-clean, welcoming spaces for our guests at The Inns at Kitchen Kettle Village. This role is part of our lodging on-call schedule, which includes taking after-hours phone calls on assigned days and occasionally being the on-property contact overnight. Team members must have reliable transportation and be willing to work these on-call shifts; living nearby is strongly preferred. Sunday shifts may be scheduled on an as-needed basis. Requirements

  • Previous cleaning/housekeeping experience: hospitality experience a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and high standards for cleanliness.
  • Team mindset with solid communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Comfort working with guests and assisting with requests during their stay.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors, use cleaning chemicals, and safely operate a golf cart.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the daily cleaning plan based on departures, arrivals, and guest requests.
  • Clean and reset guest rooms and common areas so every room looks brand new for arrival.
  • Launder, dry, and fold guest room linens; support other departments’ laundry as needed.
  • Operate laundry equipment, monitor for maintenance needs, and report issues promptly.
  • Maintain and organize housekeeping supply closets; restock room amenities and cleaning supplies.
  • Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning materials and equipment.
  • Assist with preventative maintenance work and minor repairs related to the Inn.
  • Support and help train housekeeping team members to maintain high quality standards.
  • Communicate room status and special requests with the Front Desk and Lodging Coach.
  • Participate in the lodging on-call, after-hours schedule (5:00 pm–8:30 am, as assigned).
  • All other related duties as required or assigned
