We’re looking for a HR Admin ready to roll up their sleeves (pun absolutely intended) and will play a crucial role in supporting the human resources department, ensuring the efficient handling of all HR-related activities, compliance with cannabis industry regulations, and promoting a positive workplace culture. Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Natural organizational skills and a "problem-solver" mentality—you enjoy creating structure out of chaos.
  • A positive, "can-do" attitude with a genuine desire to learn the nuances of HR within the fast-paced industry.
  • High level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping, recognizing that "the little things" matter in compliance.
  • An understanding of the importance of confidentiality and handling sensitive employee information with care.
  • A self-starter who is comfortable wearing multiple hats and assisting wherever the team needs support.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Facility Agent Card (or equivalent) if required by your state.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee records management.
  • Assisting the upkeep of employee badges
  • Maintain compliance with all cannabis industry-related labor laws, regulations, and policies at both the state and federal levels.
  • Address employee inquiries regarding company policies, benefits, and HR procedures.
  • Maintain and update employee files, ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of all HR-related documents.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices tailored to the cannabis industry.
  • Help coordinate employee training, including compliance training related to cannabis regulations.
  • Monitor and manage leave of absence requests, including FMLA and other leave policies.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and assist with conflict resolution when necessary.
  • Stay updated on changes in employment laws and cannabis-related regulations that may impact HR operations.
  • Other various HR tasks as needed.
