Your Role in Synergy's Success Role Summary The HR Coordinator provides day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Human Resources team. This role plays a key part in ensuring HR processes run smoothly across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee data management, and general HR support. This role is a six to nine month contract position; approximately 30 hours per week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1–3 years of HR, administrative, or coordinator experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Workday experience required

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate new hire onboarding
  • Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS (e.g., Workday), ensuring data integrity and confidentiality
  • Process employee changes and one-time payments in Workday
  • Process new hires in ADP
  • Conduct new hire I9 verification
  • Ensure new hires, and employees, have appropriate log in information for people systems
  • Digitizing employee files into Workday
  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee HR inquiries (benefits questions etc.), escalating as appropriate
  • Support employee lifecycle events (leaves, status changes, exits)
  • Prepare basic reports, monthly audits, and trackers (headcount, turnover, onboarding status, etc.)
  • Support HR projects, initiatives, and training programs
  • Coordinate meetings, materials, and lead employee change announcements
