About The Position

White Oak Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Human Resources (HR) Coordinator who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. As an HR Coordinator, you will: • Under general supervision, performs day-to-day HR functions (employee relations support, and operational metrics tracking (i.e. licensure, etc.), and assists with human resources files during regulatory audits. • Onboard volunteers at White Oak Medical Center and track their compliance records. • Answers questions from and provides guidance to leadership and staff regarding various areas including, but not limited to Adventist HealthCare benefits; human resources information system (HRIS); Manager Self-Service and Employee Self-Service; the performance management cycle, etc. • Assist the senior HR BP in the implementation and administration of HR policies and procedures and train managers on various policies and practices. • Maintaining the confidentiality of all personnel records in accordance with federal and state laws. Maintains HR and volunteer files with appropriate compliance documentation. • Support the senior HR BP in assisting the leadership team to implement employee relations strategies that are consistent with the organization’s initiatives, comply with legal requirements, and promote positive employee relations. • Assist senior HR BP with employee experience initiatives and programs to drive a people-first culture. • All other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 0 to 1 years of human resources experience, specifically employee relations, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in human resources or a related field.
