About The Position

From supporting our care center teams to partnering with leaders across the organization, the Human Resources team plays a vital role in creating a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace. We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Generalist to join our team. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, this role supports a designated regional area and is responsible for a wide range of HR functions including employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, and policy implementation. If you are passionate about helping employees succeed, solving complex people challenges, and building strong partnerships with leaders, this role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Five (5) years of human resource experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines
  • Analytical thinking and effective problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Thorough knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related tools
  • Experience with HRIS or talent management systems, or ability to quickly learn them

Nice To Haves

  • Professional HR designation such as CHRP, CHRL, PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP preferred

Responsibilities

  • Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Create job offers and coordinate background checks
  • Support new hires through the onboarding process
  • Assist in organizing training and development initiatives
  • Employee Relations & HR Support
  • Provide guidance to team members on HR-related topics such as leaves, compensation, and workplace concerns
  • Promote HR programs that foster a positive, efficient, and conflict-free work environment
  • Support managers with employee relations cases and conflict resolution
  • Enhance job satisfaction by helping resolve issues and supporting engagement initiatives such as team-building activities
  • HR Operations & Administration
  • Maintain accurate team member records in both electronic and paper formats
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Support performance management initiatives, including the bi-annual employee review process
  • Benefits & Leave Administration
  • Assist team members with benefits claims, plan changes, and general benefits inquiries
  • Respond to questions regarding benefits provisions, enrollment, and status changes
  • Process and administer leave-of-absence requests including medical, personal, disability, and FMLA paperwork
  • Business Partnership & Compliance
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with Care Center Managers and Regional Managers within the assigned region
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, labor regulations, and company policies
  • Support additional HR initiatives and projects as assigned
