About The Position

DZYNE is seeking an organized and people-focused HR Coordinator & Office Administrator to support our Portland office. This role combines Human Resources coordination and office management responsibilities, helping ensure employees have the support, resources, and workplace environment they need to be successful. This position will spend approximately 50% of the time supporting HR operations and 50% supporting office management and workplace experience in the Portland office. The role will work closely with the HR team, hiring managers, and employees to support day-to-day HR activities while maintaining a welcoming and well-organized office environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in HR coordination, office administration, recruiting coordination, or administrative support
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a service-oriented mindset
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information
  • Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar tools

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience supporting Human Resources, recruiting, or people operations
  • Experience coordinating onboarding, interviews, or employee‑facing processes
  • Familiarity with HRIS, ATS, or ticketing systems
  • Experience planning team events, office activities, or employee engagement programs
  • Experience supporting a growing or multi-location organization

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate onboarding activities, including scheduling, documentation, and first‑day logistics
  • Support recruiting efforts by scheduling on‑site interviews and assisting with candidate coordination
  • Handle HR administrative tasks such as payroll changes, system updates, and general HR support
  • Serve as a first point of contact for routine employee HR questions and route issues as needed
  • Support HR Helpdesk processes and assist with HR inquiry intake
  • Oversee day‑to‑day Portland office operations to maintain a professional and organized environment
  • Manage office supplies, conference room scheduling, and general workplace needs
  • Coordinate with building management and vendors for facilities requests or maintenance
  • Welcome visitors and support meeting logistics, employee swag, and workplace organization
  • Plan and execute office events, team activities, and larger annual celebrations to support office culture
