We are seeking a detail-oriented HR & Payroll Analyst to lead and manage payroll operations for 250+ employees across multiple states. This role partners closely with HR and Finance to ensure accurate payroll processing, compliance, reporting, and payroll-related accounting.

Requirements

  • Experience with HRIS Systems a must, Paycom is a plus
  • Experience with Accounting Systems is a must, Great Plains is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to create formulas, charts, graphs, and pivot tables.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/HR or equivalent experience
  • 5 plus years of payroll/accounting/HR experience, including multi-state payroll for 250+ employees

  • Payroll certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute end-to-end bi-weekly payroll processing ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
  • Review and validate employee time, compensation adjustments, and deductions.
  • Partner with HR and payroll providers to maintain accurate payroll data and systems.
  • Process monthly sales commissions and workers’ compensation accruals across multiple states.
  • Record payroll and benefits transactions in the general ledger and perform monthly reconciliations.
  • Serve as the primary resource for HR reporting and payroll analytics.
  • Support benefits administration, audits (401k, workers’ comp), W-2 reconciliation, and compliance.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding payroll, deductions, and benefits.
  • Assist with payroll-related projects and process improvements.
