About The Position

Responsible for supporting, maintaining and improving the company HR Sage Systems in alignment with the Associate Experience strategy. Partner with key stakeholders on business requirements, evaluate, recommend and implement Sage system changes, change system configurations, lead UAT and regression testing, coordinate UAT and regression testing with vendors, stakeholders and/or divisions, customer support, process improvement initiatives, and continued system maintenance. Partner with the Associate Experience Operations Manager with testing, documenting, and implementing new processes and system updates. Own end-to-end process improvement and system enhancement initiatives, serving in a leadership capacity to communicate changes to business leaders and ensure ways of working are sustained. Investigate and resolve complex leadership and associate concerns related to HR systems with a focus on timely and effective solutions. Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of system management experience
  • Experience utilizing a systems database or managing an HR system.
  • Any experience in Human Resources (HR).
  • Strong technical aptitude: able to learn and understand software applications and perform technical tasks quickly and accurately.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in nontechnical terms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong focus on customer service with a keen sense of urgency.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task, prioritize, and problem solve issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to document conclusions and develop recommendations.
  • Strong influence management skills to drive alignment and commitment across all levels of organization
  • Exceptional analytical skills and high capacity for critical thinking.

Nice To Haves

  • 7+ years of system management experience, preferably with human resources systems
  • Bachelor’s Degree in human resources or business
  • Any previous work with Sage (Associate AI Assistant), MyTime (UKG Pro), MyInfo (Oracle HCM), or similar enterprise systems
  • Knowledge of AI processes and framework
  • Knowledge of Scheduling, Timekeeping, and various HR metric measurement/analytics methodologies
  • Any experience in Human Resources supporting retail environments

Responsibilities

  • Lead system enhancement and process improvement efforts with stakeholders, often executive level, from all lines of business to evaluate, recommend, implement, sustain and measure system changes that address complex business needs and support ongoing improvements.
  • Provide direction and recommend solutioning with other HR system administrators and key stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment of HR systems with Associate Experience strategy and facilitate cross-training of skills.
  • Perform routine maintenance and configuration changes to HR systems to ensure accuracy, functionality, and compliance with business requirements; manage exceptions and troubleshoot escalated associate issues.
  • Own the success and consistent adoption of existing use cases reaching significant associate populations, partnering with business leaders across all lines of business to coordinate change management efforts, troubleshoot emerging issues and identify process improvements.
  • Serve as a visible leader of Sage and related systems, communicating to Associate Experience leadership, Retail Operations leadership and relevant business stakeholders to build buy-in, resolve conflicts and present system updates
  • Build trust and partner closely with the business to identify new or emerging use-cases, evaluating business priorities and alignment with our people strategy
  • Develops and leads prioritization of short-and-long term Sage and related system road maps with vendors and internal technology teams, balancing business priorities, urgency, complexity, technology capabilities and costs
  • Coordinate and lead user acceptance testing (UAT) and regression testing with vendors, stakeholders, and division/line of business leaders to validate system updates and ensure successful adoption and sustained usage.
  • Serve as the main point of contact with third-party providers, vendors and product management to remain current on system specifications, requirements, enhancements and releases; often partnering with vendors on requested system enhancements, road maps and communication updates and changes to impacted stakeholders and divisions.
  • Ensure system design, documentation, and implementation of new processes and system updates are completed on time, on budget and with accuracy, supporting the Associate Experience Operations Manager as needed.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on system configurations and workflows to ensure proper functionality and resolve problems as they arise.
  • Maintain system processes, procedures, and support documentation; implement continuous improvement processes to enhance system performance and user experience.
  • Lead working relationships and projects with third-party providers and technology teams for ongoing system integrations, including Sage, MyInfo, MyTime, Axonify, etc. integrations.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to proactively identify strategic business opportunities and deliver actionable recommendations, presenting findings to executive leadership to inform decision-making.
  • Support maintenance of system data elements and systems access, ensuring compliance with company-wide and division requirements.
  • Configure HR systems to support business processes and ensure alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Travel up to 10% as necessary for support and collaboration.
