HSE Specialist
About The Position
Assist with compliance reviews, general risk assessments and other safety assessments to support the site HSE program. Maintain HSE logs and records and prepare applicable HSE reports in required systems. Assist in incident/near-miss investigations: gather evidence, document findings, participate in root-cause analysis and help implement corrective actions. Perform routine inspections (production areas, contractor activities, permits) and report findings; follow up on corrective actions. Assist with HSE training delivery and competence checks; support onboarding and toolbox talks. Support contractor pre-qualification checks, on-site contractor monitoring and documentation. Observe and promote safe working practices; correct obvious hazards or escalate per local procedure. Perform other duties as assigned and comply with NOV and site HSE policies and procedures.
