About The Position

Our Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will be responsible for serving as a strategic advisor to leaders and employees and aligning HR initiatives with business goals to enhance organizational performance. The role provides expertise across talent management, employee relations, workforce planning, change management, and leadership development in partnership with Centers of Excellence and shared services teams.

Requirements

  • 0-1 years of related experience of successful supervisory/management experience required to motivate and develop direct reports, as well as size up new talent.
  • 5-10 years of related job experience.
  • Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.
  • Experienced in providing leadership to others regarding work related systems, processes, and challenges.
  • Experience of planning, managing and organizing resources within short/medium timescales within the overall policy framework.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful).
  • Strong planning and organization skills are required.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders to translate business priorities into HR strategies and actionable plans.
  • Advise on organizational design, workforce planning, spans and layers, and capability development.
  • Support change initiatives such as restructures, integrations, and process or culture transformations.
  • Use people analytics to inform decisions that improve performance, engagement, and retention.
  • Coach leaders on performance management, development planning, and effective feedback.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on hiring strategy, selection, and onboarding.
  • Support succession planning, talent reviews, and internal mobility.
  • Proven consulting, coaching, and influencing skills across organizational levels.
  • Support union contract administration and compliance to reduce grievance and arbitration risk.
  • Lead the labor relations function, including contract negotiations, arbitration preparation and presentation, and contingency planning.
  • Experience managing through the grievance and arbitration cycle.
  • Manage employee relations matters including conflict resolution, investigations, contract interpretation and corrective actions.
  • Partner with Learning & Development to deliver leadership and team effectiveness solutions.
  • Success leading negotiation of renewal agreements.
  • Provide guidance on accommodations, leave, and return‑to‑work processes in partnership with benefits teams.
  • Support engagement initiatives and advise leaders on improving team climate and communication.
  • Experience using HRIS systems (Workday preferred) and applying data to decision‑making.
  • Experience supporting multi‑site, multi‑state, or global operations.
