Requirements

  • Position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 3-5 years of Human Resource Generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and communication abilities are required.
  • Experience and knowledge of HCM/HRIS systems. UKG preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required.

Responsibilities

  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Works with hiring managers to identify personnel needs, and search assignments.
  • Partners with external staffing agency to onboard temporary-to-permanent talent.
  • Contributes to sourcing, screening, interviewing activities as well as recommending prospective employees for employment at all levels within the Company.
  • Coordinates internal and external recruitment processes, including the identification of candidate sources, placement of advertisements, internal/external job postings, and scheduling of interviews.
  • Prepares job offers for candidates and properly files documents.
  • Monitors activities and maintains accurate documentation on all candidates, searches, and other recruiting activities to ensure compliance with government regulations.
  • Conducts new hire orientation sessions to new Team Members.
  • Review results for drug and background checks in compliance with company policies.
  • Ensure new hire compliance training is completed within allotted timeframe.
  • Stay informed with Federal and state employment laws, including California.
  • Employee Relations, Compliance and Recordkeeping and safety: Maintain employee records, files and documents within our internal databases, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
  • Conduct self-audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of all employee information.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of HR projects and policy rollouts.
  • Prepare and launch internal communications on various topics related to benefits, policies, performance management, etc.
  • Assist with employee relations related activities, ie. performance management, training, etc.
  • Assist HRIS Analyst with updating and maintaining HRIS systems and databases.
  • Assist with safety initiatives, worker's compensation and benefits administration.
