About The Position

Prestonwood Country Club , a premier private club in Cary, is seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to support daily HR operations, recruitment, and employee onboarding. Position Summary: The Human Resources Assistant will provide administrative support to the HR team in all areas of recruitment, employee relations, and HR operations. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detailed-oriented and have excellent communication skills.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of HR or administrative experience.
  • Strong organization, communication, and confidentiality skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; HR systems and Canva a plus.
  • High school diploma OR equivalent
  • Administrative or HR experience required; HR or Business degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support HR operations, maintain employee records, update HR database.
  • Assist with recruiting, interviews, offers, and pre-employment screenings.
  • Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and training activities.
  • Respond to employee HR inquiries and assist with reports.
  • Manage the employee newsletter.
  • Participate in organizing company events, meetings, and other HR-related activities.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team.
