About The Position

Regal Rexnord, a leading supplier in the Aerospace industry, is seeking a Human Resources Generalist II to assist and support the Human Resources Department in areas focused on recruitment, employee relations, data integrity and management, training and total associate engagement. This position will report to the Human Resources Manager and is located in Downers Grove, Illinois.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources, strong recruiting experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with Workday
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High integrity, professionalism and confidentiality
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Ability to work in both team and individual settings
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to operate office machines, (i.e; copier, fax, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Direct Labor & Indirect Labor Recruitment Process by creating requisitions, posting jobs, scheduling/conducting interviews, reviewing background checks
  • Coach managers to improve associate performance
  • Participates in interviews and feedback meetings
  • Assists with the implementation of HR policies and initiatives
  • Responsible for New Hire Orientation
  • Provides exceptional customer service by answering and responding to general HR questions for employees in a timely manner
  • Supports open enrollment process for benefits
  • Conducts audits of various payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action
  • Assists with employee relations and disciplinary issues
  • Coach managers to improve associate performance
  • Creates and manages the logistics of Total Associate Engagement Events and community outreach initiatives
  • Prepares and maintains personnel files, ensuring complete accuracy and confidentiality
  • Prepares, distributes and posts communication announcements
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned
