About The Position

The Human Resources Intern will support the Human Resources team at Jabil by assisting with day-to-day HR administrative and operational activities. This role is designed to provide hands-on exposure to core Human Resources processes, including employee lifecycle administration, HR systems, reporting, and employee support, while working closely with HR Generalists, HR Business Partners, and Operations leaders.

Requirements

  • Class Year: Rising Senior
  • Majors Human Resources Business Administration Management Psychology Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related fields
  • GPA Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Availability Must be available to work in Florence, KY from May 18, 2026– Aug 7, 2026
  • Technical Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Basic understanding of Human Resources Information Systems (Workday or similar preferred)
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Basic data tracking, reporting, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Support Human Resources Administrators and Generalists with employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, employee data changes, and employee file maintenance
  • Assist with maintaining accurate employee records in HR systems in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Partner with HR team members to prepare HR documentation, reports, and audit materials
  • Provide frontline support by responding to basic employee HR inquiries, escalating complex matters to HR Generalists or HR Business Partners as needed
  • Support coordination of HR activities such as new hire orientation, training logistics, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Assist with HR metrics tracking and reporting related to headcount, attendance, turnover, and compliance
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and other support teams to ensure seamless HR service delivery
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HR administrative efficiency and process accuracy
