Our client, a well-established organization, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join its team. The Human Resources Manager will lead and support key HR functions, including payroll, compensation, recruiting, benefits administration, employee relations, HR systems, compliance, training, and reporting. The ideal candidate is a knowledgeable and approachable HR professional who can operate both strategically and tactically, while managing sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive human resources experience
  • 2+ years of management or supervisory experience in a professional office setting
  • Payroll processing experience is required
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience
  • Strong Microsoft 365 skills, including advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with sound judgment and discretion
  • Ability to build relationships, influence effectively, and support employees and managers at all levels
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver’s license required

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and/or provide backup support for weekly payroll processing and related reporting
  • Supervise, mentor, and support members of the HR team
  • Serve as a trusted resource to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employee-related matters
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of HR policies and practices
  • Support employee relations matters, including investigations, performance discussions, disciplinary actions, and terminations as needed
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts, including partnering with hiring managers to identify needs, define position requirements, and support the selection process
  • Conduct compensation analysis and provide support on salary-related decisions
  • Assist with benefits administration, including vendor coordination, renewals, and open enrollment
  • Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files
  • Support training and professional development initiatives across the organization
  • Prepare HR reports, data analysis, and other ad hoc reporting as needed
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with external partners, including payroll, retirement, and insurance vendors
  • Stay current on HR trends, employment regulations, and best practices, and advise leadership on potential impact
  • Promote a positive, professional, and compliant workplace culture
  • Participate in HR projects and other related initiatives as needed
